Megan Raymond has been in the Awards Industry since 1996. Raymond’s Trophy and Awards was opened by her father-in-law (Randy Raymond Sr.) in 1994. As the company grew, he needed an engraver and graphic designer. When asked to come on and utilize her background in art, she never hesitated. Just because the extension says PDF, does not mean it’s a Vector PDF.
Think of a vector image like a sheet of instructions: it tells the computer how to "draw" the image every time it is displayed. In contrast, a raster image is like a completed jigsaw puzzle. We’ll breakdown why the extension doesn’t mean Vector…..and how to use what your customer sends.
