(August 2025) Robert, aka Bob, joins Marco with extensive experience in the awards and engraving industry, backed by a three-generation family legacy. His journey began with selling Dahlgren Engraving Machines alongside his father, Robert H. Laird III, a longtime New Hermes veteran. The Laird legacy traces back even further to 1949, when Bob’s grandfather, Robert H. Laird Jr., pioneered pantograph and engraving materials in suburban Philadelphia.

Bob’s career spans ownership of his own awards company (1992–2006), and influential sales roles at Simba and PDU-CAT. Most recently, he served as Regional Sales Manager for J. Charles, covering the Carolinas and northern territory. Throughout his career, Bob has earned a reputation for integrity, technical expertise, and a relentless focus on customer success.

Bob’s deep understanding of engraving systems, materials, and production will be a tremendous asset to Marco’s customers. Whether helping a new shop get up and running or supporting a seasoned owner with product or technical information, Bob’s knowledge will help our partners to grow their businesses with confidence.
