Crystal D released a second disbursement of charitable donations to nonprofits supported by the company’s Legacy Gallery award sales.
“Generosity is one of our unspoken company values, and it is such a joy to be able to do this each year,” said Jeanne Dahlgren, president of Crystal D. “We are humbled to hear the stories about how this support is changing lives, and we are grateful to be able to do our part to support the incredible work of these charities.”
Dahlgren said the photo she received from Water for South Sudan of the well Crystal D cosponsored in the Pajiing village “is a tangible reminder of the importance of giving back and the life-changing, lifesaving effect of generosity.
“We are grateful for Water for South Sudan and its mission to bring access to clean water to communities in need,” Dahlgren added.
In addition to efforts in South Sudan, Crystal D’s annual employee-recognition event helped support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in connecting children of all ages with forever families, the International Rett Syndrome Foundation in providing resources and support to families of children with Rett syndrome, and 4 Paws for Ability in pairing service dogs with people who have complex medical needs like autism and epilepsy.
The Legacy Gallery was created in late 2023 to honor the memory of the company’s late founder, Chuck Dahlgren, and his deep commitment to generosity. It features a collection of 10 exclusive crystal-award designs, each with meaning connected to Dahlgren’s leadership and passions. Crystal D distributes 20% of the product price of every award purchased equally to the four charities.
