(May/June 2025) Rowmark’s Safe-T-Mark sheet products with black-core color combinations have received UL94 V-0 flame-retardant certification in the U.S. and Canada from global safety-science company Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The designation applies to the following color combinations: Vibrant Orange/Black, Yellow/Black, White/Black, and Grey/Black.

The UL94 V-0 standard measures a material’s flammability characteristics, certifying that it performs within UL’s maximum burn-rate requirements in horizontal and vertical positions.

Rowmark’s Safe-T-Mark was introduced in 2008 and is used in industrial settings for tags, control panels, and equipment identification. It is a fabrication-friendly alternative to traditional phenolic materials.

Materials that meet the UL94 V-0 standard are approved for use in electronic and industrial components where fire resistance is required. Certification details are available through UL’s online directory. UL issues the designation after conducting independent testing and evaluation.
