(March/April 2025) The Awards and Recognition Industry Educational Foundation (ARIEF) has announced its nine scholarship recipients for 2025.

These student recipients receive awards ranging from $500 to $1,000 to help them pursue higher education in any field.

“I am extremely grateful for this scholarship. I am excited to study something I am passionate about, and I look forward to serving others in that capacity,” says Anna Humphreys of Soaring Eagle Designs in Hesston, Kansas. She is pursuing her nursing degree and received $1,000 through the George J. Waas Memorial Scholarship. “This relieves some of the financial pressures of attending college, allowing me to focus more intently on my academic and professional goals.”

ARIEF gives out nine to 10 scholarships annually to students who are selected by a scholarship committee that conducts blind reviews of candidate applications, letters of recommendation, and essays. Applications for 2026 will open in September.
