Sports are important in almost every corner of the world, with events uniting people with the most diverse of backgrounds. Consider that 1.5 billion people tuned into the 2022 World Cup
final game between Argentina and France, according to FIFA.
Big games also play an important role in the global economy. How many consumers have purchased a T-shirt, hat or even jewelry depicting their favorite team? How much money is spent on food, drinks and all things involved in tailgating? These major events can bring millions of dollars of revenue to a city just by giving fans the opportunity to be a small part of the excitement.
And what about in our own industry? How many participation trophies, coaches’ gifts and championship awards did your store sell last year? How much of your annual revenue is generated by sports-related sales?
As members of the personalization industry, our big game will take place Feb. 6–9 in Las Vegas with APA’s International Personalization Expo—right before the NFL Super Bowl. It’s the biggest and best show dedicated to the industry and a place for all members to get involved. It’s time to get off the sidelines and commit to attending the Expo for our industry’s big game. See you in Las Vegas!
Here are five reasons to attend.
